Color Categories: How We Map Color to Element
A reference guide for how Manifest OOTD assigns each color to one of the five elements.
Behind every "lucky color" suggestion sits a mapping table. This guide shows you the table so you can override or adapt the system to your own taste.
Wood (greens)
Emerald, forest, sage, olive, mint, teal-leaning-green. The signature is "alive plant".
Fire (reds, warm oranges, hot pinks)
Scarlet, vermilion, coral, magenta, burgundy, warm orange. The signature is "flame".
Earth (yellows, browns, warm neutrals)
Beige, camel, sand, ochre, mustard, terracotta, warm brown, cream. The signature is "soil and harvest".
Metal (whites, greys, silver, pale gold)
White, off-white, light grey, silver, platinum, pale gold, cool steel. The signature is "polished blade".
Water (deep blues, black)
Navy, midnight, indigo, charcoal, black, dark teal, petrol. The signature is "deep water".
