How to Read Your Daily OOTD
Three layers of information in every daily card: lucky color, energy reading, and outfit. Here is how to use each.
Every Manifest OOTD card carries three layers of information. Most users only read the outfit and miss the deeper signal. This guide unpacks all three so you can choose how literal or symbolic you want to be each morning.
Layer 1 — The lucky color
The lucky color is computed from the day's Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch (the Bazi calendar) intersected with the dominant element of the season. It changes daily.
You do not have to wear it head to toe. A scarf, a bag, a lipstick, even a sock — any single deliberate touch counts.
If the color feels wrong for your real day, treat it as information rather than instruction. Sometimes the suggestion is exactly what you need; sometimes it tells you the day is asking you to stretch.
Layer 2 — The one-line energy reading
Beneath the color you'll see a short sentence — "a day to be seen", "a day to listen", "a day to finish things". This is the element's tone translated into modern English (or Chinese).
Read it before your first meeting. It will subtly shape how you show up.
Layer 3 — The outfit
The outfit is composed from your saved wardrobe, optimised for the lucky color, your local weather (we use your one-time location grant), and the season.
If you regenerate, the system will hold the energy and rotate the items.
Save the ones you actually wear — those become anchor data for future recommendations.
